Privacy policy
Effective 8 October 2026.
The short version
- Rig King has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking. The game sends no data to us or to anyone else.
- We don't collect, sell or share your personal information.
- Your settings and game progress stay on your device.
- Purchases are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.
What stays on your device
The game stores your settings (such as controls, graphics and sound), which tracks and vehicles you've chosen, your training progress and what you've purchased, so it can work offline. It also keeps short performance logs (frame rate, memory and device temperature per race) to help us improve the game. These stay on your device and are not sent to us.
Phones as controllers (local network)
If you use a phone as a controller, the game on your TV, iPad or Mac and the game on your phone talk to each other directly over your local Wi-Fi network. They share your phone's device name (shown on the TV so players know who's who), the controls you press, and the state of your car. None of this leaves your home network or reaches us. That's why your device asks for permission to find and connect to devices on your local network.
Camera
If you scan the TV's join code from inside the app, the camera is used only to read that code, on your device. Images are not stored or sent anywhere. You can also scan the code with your phone's own Camera app instead.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We receive confirmation of what was bought so the game can unlock it, but never your name, payment details or billing address.
Crash reports
The game itself sends no crash reports or diagnostics. If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports. We use these only to fix problems.
Children
Rig King doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
